Position SummaryThe Appliance Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating a box truck, transporting appliances from the warehouse to customers’ homes, and completing deliveries and installations in a professional and timely manner. Drivers work as part of a delivery team and are expected to provide excellent customer service while protecting the customer’s property and the appliances being delivered.
What You’ll Do
- Operate a company box truck safely and responsibly.
- Pick up appliances from the warehouse and verify the correct products before leaving.
- Load, secure, and transport refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other appliances.
- Follow the daily route and arrive at scheduled customer locations on time.
- Safely maneuver large and heavy appliances through homes.
- Complete appliance installations when required and trained to do so.
- Inspect the delivery path and look for potential obstacles or property concerns.
- Take required photos before and after deliveries to properly document the condition of the property and delivery area.
- Communicate professionally with customers and explain the delivery/installation process.
- Protect floors, walls, doors, and other customer property during the delivery.
- Report any damage, installation issue, missing parts, or unusual situation to dispatch immediately.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Keep the truck, equipment, and delivery area clean and organized.
- Complete required paperwork, delivery confirmations, photos, and other documentation.
- Work closely with your helper and other team members to complete routes efficiently.
What Employees Should Expect
This is a physical, fast-paced job. You will be moving large and heavy appliances, climbing in and out of the truck, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and working inside customers’ homes.
Employees should expect:
Early mornings: Routes can require employees to report to the warehouse early and be ready to leave the dock on schedule.
Physical work: Appliances are heavy. You must be comfortable handling large appliances safely with a helper and using proper equipment.
Customer interaction: You will be inside customers’ homes, so professionalism, patience, communication, and respect are extremely important.
Travel: Depending on the location and assignment, routes may require significant driving and time on the road.
Teamwork: Drivers work closely with helpers. Good communication between the driver and helper is essential for safely moving appliances.
Accountability: Drivers are responsible for following company procedures, documenting deliveries, taking required photos, reporting problems, and protecting customer property.
Safety first: Speed is important, but safety comes first. Employees are expected to follow proper lifting, driving, installation, and property-protection procedures.

Pay: $207.45 - $249.83 per day
