Central Piedmont Community College is a comprehensive institution which places primary emphasis on excellence in classroom instruction. Faculty members are expected to demonstrate and maintain competence in each of the following areas throughout their employment at the college as well as participate in activities which enhance the college’s service to students and the community.
A successful Human Resource Development (HRD) Instructor will teach job readiness skills, career assessment, employability, workforce exploration, and/or Working Smart “soft skills for workplace success” curriculum to job seekers. Instructors also enter student attendance into required databases, manage student assignments and records, monitor student attendance, and communicate student progress.
