Overview
Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects throughout Florida’s Treasure Coast and Space Coast regions.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects from award through completion, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements. This position requires direct interaction with project owners, including the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), counties, municipalities, and other public agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple heavy civil construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor project costs, production, and profitability
- Review plans, specifications, contracts, and change orders
- Ensure compliance with FDOT, local municipality, and client requirements
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships
- Support estimating and preconstruction efforts when needed
- Identify and resolve project issues to keep work progressing efficiently
Qualifications:
- Experience managing heavy civil construction projects
- Strong understanding of roadway, drainage, utility, sitework, and infrastructure construction
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with owners, engineers, and construction teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)

- FDOT projects and specifications
