Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
About us
Come be a part of our incredible multidisciplinary team of BCBAs, SLPs, PTs, and OTs to make lasting positive changes in the lives of our kids!
Adventure Learning Center is a BCBA owned company in Colorado Springs offering services to children diagnosed with Autism or related disorders. We take a trauma informed, natural environment approach to bring about socially significant change, without making therapy uncomfortable or unenjoyable for our clients. We pride ourselves on openness, high ethical standards, and proven change for our kids. Our owner and team reached a breaking point after working in environments that led to burnout and treated clients as paychecks instead of people. Ashley chose to step forward and create something better, a place rooted in compassion, understanding, and genuine care. Together, we are building meaningful change as a collaborative team, guided by a trauma-informed approach that honors the experiences of both our clients and our staff.
Nearly 30% of BCBAs leave the profession within their first five years, and almost half leave their first position within just one to two years. This level of turnover is most often driven by overwhelming caseloads, early-career professionals being left without adequate mentorship, and a lack of career growth. We know this field is demanding, and too often companies make it even harder. That’s why we are intentionally building a different kind of organization: one that protects the longevity of the field, supports a healthy work–life balance, and allows our clinicians to do what they came here to do—make a real, lasting difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.
We believe the right workplace can change your life. With a strong focus on work–life balance, intentional career development, and a family-centered culture, we support you not just as a clinician, but as a person. Here, we hope you rediscover your passion for ABA and remember why you chose this field in the first place.
