Job Summary
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Child Care Assistant Teacher/Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire young minds and foster a nurturing learning environment. In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist with child development instruction, and ensure the safety and well-being of children from infancy through preschool age. Your energy and compassion will help create a positive space for children to explore, learn, and grow while adhering to all safety protocols and educational standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development, early childhood education, and social-emotional growth.
- Assist with daily classroom management, including organizing activities, supervising children, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Engage children in play-based learning activities that promote cognitive, motor, and social skills.
- Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure proper documentation of any concerns related to child safety or well-being.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to develop individualized plans for children with special needs or disabilities.
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations such as pediatric first aid and CPR procedures.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification in first aid and pediatric first aid is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members professionally.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
