The Lead Teacher oversees daily classroom operations, planning, and supervision. Supported by an assistant teacher, you will ensure a safe, nurturing environment while addressing the needs of students, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Instruction: Develop and implement lesson plans, schedules, and instructional materials; maintain student developmental profiles.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom; supervise all student activities and meal times.
- Leadership: Direct classroom staff and assist in personnel evaluations to ensure orderly operations.
- Communication: Conduct parent-teacher conferences, maintain family information boards, and contribute to the monthly newsletter.
- Administration: Complete essential paperwork (attendance, accident reports) and manage the classroom medication schedule.
- Support: Assist with academy events, meet prospective families, and fill in for administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Compliance: Must meet all state-mandated requirements for the position.
- Physical: Ability to consistently lift at least 40 lbs to waist height throughout the day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
