PART-TIME PROPERTY MAINTENANCE & GROUNDS POSITION
I am seeking a dependable, trustworthy and physically capable individual to assist with the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of several residential properties.
Schedule
This is a part-time position, approximately 2–3 days per week, preferably Wednesday through Friday, from approximately 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The afternoon/evening schedule is intentional. Because of South Florida’s extreme heat, whenever practical, heavier outdoor work can be performed during the later and cooler portion of the day, with other maintenance projects handled earlier in the shift. Some flexibility in scheduling may occasionally be necessary.
Responsibilities
The position involves a wide variety of hands-on property maintenance, including:
- Landscaping, lawn care and general yard maintenance
- Trimming, pruning, planting and property cleanup
- Heavy lifting, moving and hauling materials
- Loading and unloading supplies
- Painting and basic property improvements
- Pressure cleaning and exterior maintenance
- Minor repairs and general handyman-type work
- Cleaning and organizing work and storage areas
- Picking up materials and occasional property-related errands
- Identifying maintenance issues before they become larger problems
- Helping maintain the overall appearance and condition of the properties
This can be physically demanding work involving lifting and carrying heavy objects, bending, climbing ladders and working outdoors.
What I’m Looking For
Most importantly, I am looking for someone who is reliable, honest, responsible, self-motivated and takes pride in their work.
Previous experience in landscaping, property maintenance, construction, painting, handyman work or similar trades is preferred. Someone with a broad range of practical skills would be ideal.
Because this person may have access to private residential properties and occasionally interact with tenants, professionalism, discretion and trustworthiness are essential.

Qualified applicants should be prepared to provide:
- Current résumé or detailed employment history
- At least three verifiable references
- Valid government-issued identification
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license if driving is required
- Authorization for an appropriate background check
- Information regarding relevant landscaping, maintenance, construction, painting or handyman experience
Compensation will be discussed based upon experience, qualifications and the responsibilities ultimately agreed upon.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
