Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor's degree from an approved education program in subject area

Masters in English is preferred but not required

Must have NC Teaching License or have qualifications to obtain a NC teaching license through a recognized teacher education program

Must understand North Carolina Course of Study/Common Core and Essential Standards

Experience teaching English at high school level is preferred

Other duties as assigned by Superintendent, Principal or designee including but not limited to extracurricular assignments

Multi-certified preferred but not required
