Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in menu planning, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Cleaning responsibilities throughout the restaurant.
- Team player in helping in other areas to support the business' needs.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced restaurant is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures within the food industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy kitchen setting.
