Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that align with our links to learning curriculum.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere by managing behavior effectively and encouraging cooperative play among children.
- Conduct assessments of child development and do parent teacher conferences 2 times a year.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate developmental milestones, behavioral observations, and classroom updates.
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and safety protocols while providing a nurturing environment for toddlers and preschoolers.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, including classroom management and lesson planning.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and special education practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work with students, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies that support positive social interactions.
- Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations in early childhood settings.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields preferred; relevant coursework or certifications in childhood development instruction are advantageous.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
