About the Role:
ACE Food Equipment Corp is looking for a skilled Food Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Royersford, PA! In this hands-on role, you'll keep commercial food service equipment running at peak performance for our valued customers. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial food service equipment including Deli slicers, meat grinders, bread slicers, scales etc
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on a variety of food equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical issues on commercial kitchen food equipment
- Complete service calls at customer locations in a timely and professional manner
- Document service work, parts used, and repair history accurately
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment issues and repair recommendations
- Manage parts inventory on your truck for needed for repairs and maintenance
Requirements:
- Prior experience repairing commercial food service or food equipment strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems or mechanic experience with small motors
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals (a bonus but not required)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and customer-service oriented
