The Opportunity
The President is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and success of the company. This executive will oversee manufacturing, operations, finance, sales, engineering, quality, supply chain, and organizational development while working directly with ownership to establish strategic priorities and achieve long-term business goals.
This role requires a leader who is just as comfortable reviewing financial performance as they are walking the production floor, understanding manufacturing processes and equipment, identifying opportunities for improvement, coaching leaders, and solving operational challenges. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how equipment, production processes, and manufacturing decisions directly impact quality, efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

What Success Looks Like
The successful President will:

Key Responsibilities
The President will:
· Lead all aspects of the business, including manufacturing, operations, finance, sales, engineering, quality, supply chain, customer service, and administrative functions.
· Develop and execute the company's strategic and operational plans.
· Lead the annual budgeting and business planning process while monitoring financial performance throughout the year.
· Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve profit margins, control operating expenses, and strengthen the overall financial health of the company.
· Improve manufacturing performance through better production planning, scheduling, quality systems, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
· Establish measurable business goals and regularly review performance with department leaders.
· Build, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team.
· Evaluate equipment, technology, and capital investments that improve manufacturing capabilities and long-term profitability.
· Strengthen relationships with ownership, employees, customers, suppliers, and business partners.
· Foster a workplace culture built on integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
· Required experience in tape manufacturing-THIS IS A MUST HAVE.
· Experience with butyl tape, hot melt adhesives, coating, converting, or similar manufacturing processes strongly preferred.
· At least 10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
· At least 5 years leading multiple departments or an entire manufacturing operation.
· Demonstrated success improving the financial performance of a manufacturing business by increasing revenue, improving profit margins, managing expenses responsibly, strengthening cash flow, and making sound business decisions.
· Proven experience improving manufacturing efficiency, productivity, quality, inventory management, and overall operational performance.
· Experience developing and leading high-performing leadership teams.
· Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand manufacturing equipment and production processes.
· Experience using manufacturing and business management software to support planning, forecasting, inventory management, and operational decision-making.
· PLC experience is preferred but not required.
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field is a plus.

They are equally comfortable reviewing financial performance, managing budgets, improving profitability, strengthening cash flow, and making sound business decisions that drive long-term growth.

Pay: $165,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
