Currently prioritizing candidates with experience and those willing to do rooms, laundry, and public areas. Must be available on weekends.
Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a fresh and inviting environment
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Perform floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, polishing, and buffing to keep all flooring in pristine condition
- Handle laundry duties by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards
- Follow established cleaning protocols using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and requesting replenishments as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred
- Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning methods
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service excellence
- Experience managing custodial tasks in busy environments such as hotels or large facilities is advantageous
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices to coordinate daily cleaning schedules effectively
