We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician (MD or DO) to join our dynamic team. The physician will provide a blend of in-person and telemedicine-based care to patients of all ages, managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, supervise and collaborate with our midlevel provider staff. The role also includes participation in wellness programs such as medical weight loss, IV infusion services, and hormone optimization. Blue Skies Health and Wellness is a modern, patient-centered primary care clinic serving St. Lucie, Martin and Okeechobee communities. In addition to traditional primary care, we proudly offer telemedicine, an IV infusion therapy center, medical weight management and hormone replacement therapy services. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care through in-person visits and secure telemedicine platforms
- Perform detailed patient histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations
- Diagnose and treat chronic and acute medical conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and manage medication therapy in compliance with state regulations
- Deliver wellness-based care through services such as weight management programs, hormone replacement therapy, and IV infusion therapy
- Monitor and assist with IV treatments, including IV hydration and nutrient support
- Counsel patients on preventive care, lifestyle changes, and chronic disease self-management
- Accurately document patient encounters in the EHR system
- Refer patients to specialists as needed and follow up on test results
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives, staff development, and clinic operations
- supervise and collaborate with midlevel provider staff
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited program
- Current Florida license (active and unrestricted)
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or urgent care preferred
- Comfort with telemedicine platforms
- Interest or experience in integrative care, hormone therapy, or weight management is a plus
- Proficient in electronic medical records and clinical documentation
- BLS certification
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
