Our client is a family-owned, Indiana-based manufacturer and service provider specializing in overhead material-handling equipment. The company designs, builds, installs, and services overhead bridge cranes, jib and gantry cranes, monorail systems, and related components such as electric chain and wire rope hoists, crane kits, parts, and accessories. As a Service Technician – Level 1, you’ll work under the guidance of experienced technicians to inspect, install, and repair crane systems while learning valuable electrical and mechanical skills.
- Assist in inspecting, installing, and servicing hoist and crane systems.
- Help troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues under supervision.
- Perform routine maintenance and document all service activities.
- Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards at all times.
- Participate in on-call rotation and training as assigned.
Requirements
- No experience necessary — training provided.
- Associate degree in electrical or mechanical technology preferred.
- Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude; ability to read schematics and use hand/power tools.
- Valid driver’s license with insurable record; ability to pass DOT physical.
- Willing to travel up to 30% and work overtime as needed.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
