Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced nightclub environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and an understanding of the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed.
- Handle bussing duties by clearing empty glasses and plates from tables promptly.
- Support food preparation tasks when necessary, ensuring all items are ready for service.
- Operate POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for processing orders accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs.
- Assist with cash handling duties, ensuring accurate transactions during busy shifts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during events such as banquets or catering services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred; nightclub experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety standards in the food industry.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including catering and banquet experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.

Projected Total Compensation: $12.00 - $17.50 per hour
