Pediatric Dental Assistant / Front Office Team Member
Honey Bee Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an experienced, friendly, and dependable team member to join our growing practice! We're looking for someone who enjoys working with children and is comfortable helping in both the front office and back office. Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures
- Take digital X-rays and prepare treatment rooms
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial options with families
- Schedule appointments and answer phones
- Verify insurance benefits, submit claims, and assist with billing
- Help with treatment coordination and collections
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Provide an exceptional experience for our patients and their families
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of dental experience preferred
- Experience in both front office and dental assisting is preferred
- Pediatric dental experience is a plus
- Orthodontic experience is a plus
- Experience with insurance verification, billing, treatment coordination, and scheduling is preferred
- Dentrix Ascend experience is a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Positive attitude, dependable, and willing to learn
