Job Overview
Springs Nimbus Warehouse is looking for experienced delivery drivers to bring wholesale goods to retailers throughout Colorado Springs and the surrounding cities. A truck or van is provided and a CDL is not required for this opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery trucks or vans for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Conduct thorough inspections of delivery vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently while practicing safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques.
- Deliver products directly to customers’ locations, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation using mobile devices, including delivery logs, route sheets, and proof of delivery records.
- Assist in warehouse operations by organizing inventory, moving stock within the facility, and supporting overall warehouse cleanliness and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations with a focus on manual handling and material movement.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial trucks preferred.
- Strong knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety standards during transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly throughout the shift.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during deliveries.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment involving moving goods, operating material handling equipment, and following safety procedures related to weight handling in the workplace.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
