Responsibilities
- Teach Spanish in a Christ-centered manner that inspires students to value both the language and the learning process.
- Build meaningful relationships with students and support their faith and personal growth.
- Develop engaging, thoughtful lessons that meet students at their level and challenge them to grow.
- Apply sound educational practices to help students succeed across every grade level served.
- Cultivate a classroom culture grounded in grace, respect, and encouragement.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to advance our shared mission of Christian education.
Teaching Load
This position involves one class per grade level on the following schedule:
- High School: 5 days per week
- Middle School: 3 days per week
- Preschool/Lower School: 1 day per week
Qualifications
Required:
- A genuine, growing relationship with Christ and a commitment to discipling children.
- An enthusiastic and creative command of the Spanish language.
- Spanish teaching experience or clearly demonstrated ability to teach the language.
- Knowledge of educational best practices.
- A relevant degree.
Preferred:
- A passion for building lasting relationships with students.
- Flexibility and a positive spirit suited to teaching across multiple age groups.
