Job Summary
We are seeking a Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced dealership team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
- Explain recommended services clearly, providing detailed estimates using estimating software and ensuring transparency.
- Upsell additional services and maintenance options that align with the customer’s vehicle needs, maximizing service opportunities.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, and more.
- Manage service writing processes efficiently, including creating detailed repair orders and updating clients on vehicle status throughout the process.
- Handle cash transactions professionally while maintaining accurate records of all service sales and payments.
- Foster strong client relationships through effective communication, follow-up calls, and ensuring customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure availability of necessary components for repairs and services.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of dealership policies, warranty procedures, and industry best practices related to collision repair, auto body work, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, shocks & struts, alignment, and other automotive specialties.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar auto service management role within a dealership environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and trust with clients.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes
- Experience with sales techniques related to automobile sales and service packages.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to drive company vehicles as needed.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
