Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers to join our healthcare team. As a caregiver, you will provide essential support to our residents and assist with their daily activities. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients. Must be CNA or CHHA certfied or enrolled in a course to obtain certification. Part time and per diem positions available
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Collect specimens for laboratory testing
- Assist with medical procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
- Ensure patient safety by following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize electronic health record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) for documentation purposes
Experience:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy is beneficial
- Familiarity with behavioral health and hospice care practices is a plus
- Proficiency in using medical equipment, such as Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is desirable
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Pay: $18.00 per hour
