Description
The Manufacturing Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting production operations and driving manufacturing performance. Working closely with production supervisors, operators, planners, and leadership, this position helps ensure products move efficiently through the manufacturing process while identifying opportunities to improve production output, reduce bottlenecks, and support on-time delivery.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem-solving, working with data, and collaborating with teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze production performance and capacity to support operational decision-making and attainment of production goals.
- Track priority units throughout the manufacturing process and coordinate resolution of issues impacting production flow.
- Partner with floor supervisors, operators, and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production constraints in real time.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide manufacturing teams with real-time visibility into production performance.
- Identify bottlenecks and work with the appropriate teams to implement corrective actions and improve efficiency.
- Document workflows and support the standardization of processes to reduce variation and improve consistency.
- Communicate production status, priorities, and risks clearly across departments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process evaluation.
Education & Experience:
- Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
- Recent graduates with strong analytical abilities and an interest in manufacturing operations are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, operations, or business support role is preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required; Power BI or similar reporting tools are a plus.
- Ability to analyze production data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience documenting processes and developing standard operating procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable working both on the manufacturing floor and in an office environment.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
