Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and experienced Ironworker to join our team (pay will be based on experience). This position requires travel to job sites as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural steel erection, miscellaneous metals installation, and working safely in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities:
- Erect and install structural steel, stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metals
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and erection plans
- Bolt-up, weld, rig, and connect steel components
- Operate lifts, forklifts, and other jobsite equipment as needed
- Work at heights using proper fall protection
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Travel to out-of-town projects when required
- Work efficiently to meet project schedules
Qualifications:
- Previous ironworking or steel erection experience preferred
- Ability to travel regularly for projects
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions
- Knowledge of tools, rigging, welding, and steel installation practices
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team attitude
- OSHA certification
