Duties
- Decorate donuts with icing, sprinkles, glazes, and other toppings using precise cake decorating techniques
- Prepare baked goods by following recipes accurately and ensuring consistent quality in pastry preparation
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and decorating tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety management practices and sanitation protocols
- Assist in food handling and preparation tasks related to baked goods and other confections
- Support high-volume production by managing multiple decorating stations during busy periodsSkills
- Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry preparation, or food industry roles with a focus on baked goods
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and ensure consistency across large batches of baked items
- Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with team members and customers when needed
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory
- Catering or restaurant experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
