Women’s Animal Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable part-time Animal Care Attendant to join our shelter team. This hands-on role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with animals, takes pride in keeping spaces clean and organized, and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of shelter pets every day.
The Animal Care Attendant helps provide daily care to the animals in our shelter. Responsibilities include feeding, cleaning and sanitizing animal areas, washing dishes and laundry, restocking supplies, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both animals and staff.
Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old and available to work weekends. The ideal candidate is reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy animal care environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a caring attitude toward animals are important for success in this role.
Prior animal care experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
