Sonder Behavioral Health & Wellness is seeking a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our growing team as we expand into our new Oakdale location opening in September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to combine traditional psychiatric medication management with innovative treatment options such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato® (esketamine) while helping shape a new clinic location within a highly respected and rapidly growing mental health practice.

Position Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
- Develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse patient population
- Assess patients for TMS and Spravato treatment when clinically appropriate
- Provide clinical oversight and follow-up care for patients receiving TMS and Spravato
- Participate in TMS mapping and treatment planning (training provided)
- Collaborate closely with therapists, psychologists, and fellow psychiatric providers
- Contribute to the growth and success of our new Oakdale location
Qualifications Required
- Psychiatrist (MD/DO)
- Active Minnesota license or ability to obtain licensure
- DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
- Experience with TMS and/or Spravato
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry
- Interest in innovative and interventional psychiatric treatments
- Collaborative, growth-oriented mindset
Training & Support
Experience with TMS and Spravato is welcomed but not required.
Providers new to these treatment modalities will receive comprehensive training and mentorship through our experienced clinical team prior to independently providing services.
