THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a rare chance to join a celebrated fine dining concept at its inception in a new market. You will help recruit, shape, and lead an entirely new team, establish Guard and Grace as Charlotte's premier dining destination, and grow alongside a restaurant group with a strong culture and a clear vision.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Depending on your role, responsibilities will include:
- Leading daily front and back of house operations with a focus on exceptional guest experience
- Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team from the ground up
- Driving revenue, managing costs, and delivering on financial targets (GM/AGM)
- Maintaining Guard and Grace brand standards and Chef Troy Guard's culinary vision
- Supervising and coaching servers, hosts, bartenders, food runners, and bussers (FOH Manager)
- Managing reservations, floor flow, and guest communications
- Resolving guest concerns promptly, professionally, and with genuine care
- Supporting scheduling, labor management, and performance documentation
- Fostering a workplace culture rooted in TRG's Core Values: Caring, Passion, Ownership, Imagination, Harmony, Courage, and Humility
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- General Manager: 5+ years of GM experience in upscale or fine dining; strong P&L and financial acumen; proven ability to open and scale restaurant operations
- Assistant General Manager: 3+ years of management experience in upscale or fine dining; collaborative leadership style; ability to confidently lead operations independently
- Front of House Manager: 2+ years of FOH management in upscale or fine dining; strong floor presence; experience with reservation platforms (OpenTable or similar) preferred

- Strong communication, leadership, and team development skills
- The ability to remain composed and solution-oriented in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
