We are seeking a Dental Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team!
We're looking for an energetic, compassionate, and organized receptionist to join our growing pediatric dentistry and orthodontic practice in Wellington. Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and families with a warm, friendly attitude
- Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate records
- Answer phones and schedule appointments efficiently
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding appointments and treatment
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Insurance verification and submission
- Plan and schedule appointments and events
- Develop and implement organized systems
- Collect payments and process financial transactions
- Work closely with our clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Maintain an organized, clean, and professional front office
- Perform other administrative office tasks
Qualifications:
- Previous dental or medical front office experience preferred
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
- Experience with dental software (Open Dental preferred, but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written communication skills
- Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
- Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
