Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their tastes.
- Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently for processing orders and managing payments.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash management practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, including catering events and banquets.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, ordering as necessary to ensure adequate stock.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food service industry.
Requirements TIPS Certificate Required.
- Previous experience in a bartending or food service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar point-of-sale technology is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic knowledge of retail math for managing transactions and inventory counts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus but not required.
- Must be of legal drinking age and possess any necessary certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
