Position: Forklift Driver
Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused 7–10 ton forklift driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy-capacity forklifts and be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial or warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate 7–10 ton forklifts to move, load, unload, and position heavy materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials throughout the facility or yard.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and during operation and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with general material-handling duties as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
Qualifications
- Forklift operating experience preferred, particularly with heavy-capacity forklifts.
- Experience operating a 7–10 ton forklift is highly preferred.
- Ability to safely handle heavy and oversized materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to pass any required company safety training or forklift certification.
