The Century Group Inc. is looking to hire a skilled carpenter to join our team for apartment complexes in South County and Jefferson County areas. This position has a wide variety of duties and projects to maintain, remodel and rebuild our 18 apartment complexes. Examples of projects and duties are removing and rebuilding decks, repairing decks, rebuilding/repairing exterior staircases, remodel apartments, replacing interior and exterior doors, replacing cabinets, installing base, repairing subfloor, hang/replace drywall, siding, soffit and fascia repairs, and much more.
The position is full time M-F 8:00 to 4:30, is all year round, indoor and outdoor work, no shortage of work, no layoff periods, no days lost due to weather. Must have the following:
- At least years 8 experience in carpentry, rough and finish
- Have your own tools and vehicle
- Valid drives license and insurance
Required skills/duties include:
- Rough and finish carpentry
- Drywall install and repair, mud and tape
- Remodeling, replacing doors, cabinets, base, etc.
- Basic electrical and plumbing
Wage range is $28 to $32 per hour, based on skills.
