Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Handyman / Home Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across residential and commercial properties.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced handyman, contractor, maintenance technician, or tradesperson who enjoys a variety of projects and wants additional work without having to generate every customer lead themselves.
A strong focus on customer service and attention to detail will help you succeed in delivering top-quality home and facility solutions.
What You'll Do:
Projects will vary from customer to customer and may include:
- Faucet replacements
- Toilet repairs and replacements
- Garbage disposal replacement
- Light fixture replacement
- Ceiling fan replacement
- GFCI, outlet and switch replacement within appropriate scope
- Drywall patching and minor repairs
- Door installation and adjustment
- Trim and minor carpentry work
- TV mounting
- Shelving and storage installation
- Cabinet hardware installation
- Caulking and sealing
- Screen repairs
- Appliance installation
- Vanity installation
- Smart-home device installation
- Gutter cleaning
- Pressure washing
- General home maintenance and "honey-do" lists
- Other small residential repair and installation projects
Our focus is primarily on small jobs that can typically be completed in a few hours to one day, rather than major remodeling projects.
What We're Looking For
The right person doesn't have to be an expert in every trade, but should be an experienced problem-solver who can walk into a customer's home, evaluate the project, and complete the work correctly and professionally.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous handyman, construction, property maintenance, remodeling, or trades experience
- Broad knowledge of residential repairs and installations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Respect for customers' homes and property
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to accurately communicate additional work or materials needed
- A strong commitment to quality workmanship
Candidates with experience in carpentry, plumbing repairs, electrical fixture replacement, property maintenance, apartment maintenance, or residential remodeling are encouraged to apply.

Schedule
This position can offer flexibility based on customer demand and the technician's availability.
We are open to discussing arrangements with someone looking for consistent work as well as an experienced handyman or tradesperson looking to supplement an existing workload.
Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience, capabilities and working arrangement.
Compensation structure will be discussed with qualified candidates and may be structured based on hourly work, individual projects, or another mutually agreed arrangement.
Important
Because our technicians work inside customers' homes, reliability, professionalism and trustworthiness are extremely important.
Background screening and appropriate insurance/documentation may be required depending on the final working arrangement.
