Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive store success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage sales teams, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain optimal inventory levels. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
- Implement employee orientation programs and conduct regular performance evaluations to promote professional growth.
- Monitor store financials such as budgeting, payroll processing, and retail math to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment that adheres to safety standards and enhances the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams and managing store operations.
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
- Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling, bookkeeping, and retail math.
- Demonstrated leadership in retail sales management with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Excellent communication skills combined with organizational abilities to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a grocery or general retail store is preferred.
