Location: Edmond, Oklahoma
Position: Full-Time HVAC Install Journeyman
A&T Mechanical is looking for an experienced HVAC Install Journeyman who takes pride in doing the job right the first time. We are growing and need someone who can step into our install department, work efficiently, lead by example, and deliver the level of quality our customers expect.
We aren't looking for someone who simply wants another HVAC job. We want a dependable professional who cares about craftsmanship, their team, and leaving every job better than they found it.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Completing full system replacements, change-outs, and new installations
- Installing furnaces, air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, coils, ductwork, and related equipment
- Performing start-ups and ensuring systems are operating correctly before leaving the job
- Following manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company installation standards
- Maintaining clean and organized job sites
- Protecting customers' homes and property throughout the installation
- Communicating clearly with customers, coworkers, dispatch, and leadership
- Accurately documenting completed work, photos, and job information
- Helping train and develop less-experienced installers when needed
- Taking ownership of the quality of every installation
What We're Looking For
- Current Oklahoma HVAC Journeyman License required
- Previous HVAC installation experience
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC equipment and installation procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot installation and start-up issues
- Ability to read installation instructions, specifications, and job information
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely lift, climb, work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Someone who can work as part of a team without needing to be constantly supervised
