Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement activities and optimize supply chain operations. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes using advanced motor industry specific systems and e-procurement platforms to streamline purchasing activities.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and vendors, ensuring favorable terms, compliance with procurement regulations, and risk mitigation.
- Oversee vendor contract management and supplier relationship management to foster reliable supply chains and continuous improvement.
- Conduct category management and strategic sourcing initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement categories.
- Coordinate with logistics, quality management, materials management, and other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Perform root cause analysis for procurement issues, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve procurement processes through project management methodologies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement management within a supply chain environment, including vendor contract management and strategic sourcing.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and other e-procurement tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, procurement regulation compliance, and procurement category management.
- Excellent skills in negotiation, project management, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier relationship development.
- Familiarity with supply chain logistics, pricing strategies, quality assurance processes, and materials management.
- Ability to analyze root causes of procurement challenges and implement effective solutions for continuous improvement.
- Prior experience working within public sector purchasing or regulated environments is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
