Job Summary
Asia Motors is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-quality inventory preparation and exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for overseeing the vehicle reconditioning process, managing inventory levels, and ensuring every customer receives a professional, seamless experience. Key Responsibilities
- Inventory & Reconditioning Management: * Oversee the end-to-end vehicle reconditioning (recon) workflow to ensure trade-ins and purchased inventory are retail-ready quickly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with mechanics, detailers, and external vendors to manage reconditioning timelines and costs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking vehicle statuses from acquisition to the sales floor.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Greet and assist customers with a high level of professionalism, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Support the sales team in closing deals and ensuring a transparent, welcoming buying environment.
- Daily Operations & Leadership:
- Assist the General Manager in daily dealership operations, including opening/closing procedures and administrative tasks.
- Lead, motivate, and hold the reconditioning and lot teams accountable to meet target turnaround times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or Team Lead within the automotive retail or dealership industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS), inventory tracking software, and basic budgeting/cost control.
- Reconditioning Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive reconditioning processes, detailing standards, and vendor negotiation.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills, a professional demeanor under pressure, and excellent multitasking abilities.
- License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
