Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director, the F&B Manager is responsible for delivering excellent service to members, guests, and employees. Key duties include coordinating food service, supporting banquet and special event operations, resolving guest and staff concerns, and handling administrative tasks. This role upholds high standards of professionalism and ethics, fosters a respectful workplace, and creates a welcoming experience for every guest. The manager also develops a strong understanding of Pasatiempo’s operations, recipes, sourcing, and seasonal ingredients and communicates that knowledge in a friendly, approachable way. In addition, the role maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment, follows proper food-handling practices, and supports other projects and initiatives as needed.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
· Partner with the F&B Director to develop the annual food and beverage budget and operating plan, and execute it in accordance with club policies and procedures to meet profit goals.
· Work with the F&B Director to develop and implement policies and procedures for the entire food and beverage operation.
· Plan and schedule staffing, equipment, and supply needs for the food and beverage operation, and oversee related costs, monthly inventory, usage, and performance.
· In partnership with the F&B Director, support the hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation of all food and beverage staff.
· Ensure food and beverage employees are consistently well-groomed, wear designated uniforms and name tags, and keep uniforms in good condition.
· Develop and maintain marketing and promotional programs for members and guests that support the food and beverage operation.
· Oversee front-of-house operations during all meal periods to ensure food and service standards are consistently met.
· Confirm that prices, taxes, tips, and other charges on member and guest checks are accurate and properly entered into the point-of-sale system.
· Implement and monitor internal financial controls for the food and beverage operation, with a focus on cost of sales and budgeted labor targets.
· Maintain the purchase order system for food and beverage inventory, and oversee ordering and receiving to ensure correct quantities and pricing.
· Manage sales, expenses, and profit performance in line with the food and beverage operating budget.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
