Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. Pay is 25% plus a pay raise of 3% per year until you reach 40% . The ideal candidate will be responsible on the road between 3 weeks to 1 month at a time longer if he wishes. This driver will transport goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving and the ability to handle various warehouse tasks.
Duties
- Operate box trucks for regional deliveries, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload goods using pallet jacks, maintaining proper handling procedures to prevent damage.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimize time management and fuel usage.
- Communicate effectively with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before each trip.
Experience
- Previous experience as a OTR driver or in a is preferred.
- Experience in route driving with a proven track record of timely deliveries.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
