Job Position: Weight Management Advanced Practice Provider

Responsibilities and Duties:
As a Weight Management APP with Mill City Medical, you will be responsible for the following key functions:

Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical history, current health status, and weight management needs.

Treatment Planning: Develop personalized weight management plans, incorporating a combination of dietary, exercise, behavioral, and medical interventions.

Patient Education: Educate patients on the importance of healthy lifestyle choices, including nutrition, exercise, and stress management.

Medication Management: Prescribe and manage medications when appropriate, and closely monitor patients' responses and side effects.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary MD.

Patient Follow-up: Monitor patients' progress, make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, and provide ongoing support and motivation.

Data Collection and Reporting: Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of weight management programs.
Qualifications:

Active NP/PA license in Massachusetts

Board certification in Weight Management preferred

2 years of experience in weight management or related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based healthcare environment
