The Intermission Bar Supervisor will lead and develop our Team, and oversee the daily service operations for the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. This passionate candidate will ensure the highest level of quality for food, beverage and hospitality, support the Beverage Manager in overseeing the full beverage program for Intermission Bars and Catering Operations, provide support in maintaining and/or exceeding all budgeted goals, and follow all safety and sanitation regulations. The Intermission Bar Supervisor will be fully engaged in floor operations, both in singular and multiple venues simultaneously. The Intermission Bar Supervisor will innovate and implement all steps of service, side work, and will provide constant guidance and support for Team members. They will collaborate and communicate with the Beverage Manager and Culinary leadership team. The Intermission Bar Supervisor will provide oversight and accountability for all payroll and human resource requirements as set by the Corporate Office. The Intermission Bar Supervisor will be well versed in money management, and place the utmost importance on accurate reporting. This position will be heavily involved with our cocktail batching program. The Intermission Bar Supervisor will be an expert in the quality of product, accurate recipe building, and quality control of our specialty beverage programs. Our Intermission Bar Supervisor will encourage our Team to genuinely interact with our Guests
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high-volume bar establishment
· Educated in food and beverage with an emphasis on wine, beer, and spirits
· Preferred experience in craft cocktail development and batching programs
· General understanding of the management of: inventory, cost control, and payroll
· Proven track record of working with high-performing teams with an ongoing development plan for future leaders in our company
· Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays
· Flexible and willingness to adapt to ongoing changes
· Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite and POS Systems
· Professional and confident verbal and written communication with Guests, employees and Kravis Center Leadership
· Ability to lift up to 30lbs. Loading and unloading materials and equipment. Physical abilities including standing, walking and climbing stairs. Standing for extended periods of time. Bending, kneeling and crouching.
