Safford CDJR Sterling is hiring an Experienced Automotive Sales Consultant with a proven track record in vehicle sales.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a professional salesperson with at least 2 years of automotive sales experience who already understands the dealership sales process and can contribute quickly in a busy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered, candidates must have:
- Minimum 2 years of automotive sales experience
- Proven vehicle sales track record
- Experience using an automotive CRM
- Strong phone, text, email, and in-person communication skills
- Ability to set appointments and follow up consistently
- Confidence presenting vehicles, payments, trade information, and options
- Professional appearance, attitude, and customer-first mindset
- Valid driver’s license
- Full-time availability, including evenings, Saturdays, and peak sales events
CDJR experience is a plus, but not required. Strong sales experience from another franchise dealership, used vehicle store, or high-volume automotive sales environment will be considered.
What You Will Do
As an Experienced Automotive Sales Consultant, you will manage customers from first contact through delivery and follow-up.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet showroom customers professionally
- Respond quickly to internet, phone, text, and email leads
- Set, confirm, and manage appointments
- Ask strong questions to understand each customer’s needs, budget, timing, trade, and buying motivation
- Present Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles clearly and confidently
- Conduct walkarounds, product presentations, and test drives
- Explain features, benefits, payments, options, and trade information
- Follow a structured road-to-the-sale process
- Work closely with sales managers to move deals forward
- Use the CRM correctly on every customer, every time
- Complete follow-up with unsold customers, sold customers, referrals, and repeat buyers
- Protect CSI by delivering a professional, honest, and straightforward customer experience
- Build long-term customer relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals
Performance Expectations

Compensation
$80,000 - $180,000 per year
Compensation is performance-based and may include commission, bonuses, and other eligible pay plan earnings. Actual earnings depend on sales production, gross, follow-up, appointment setting, repeat business, referrals, customer retention, and overall performance.
