Bucktown Bow & Meow is looking for an energetic, dependable, dog-loving Lead Receptionist to join our team! Must work a minimum of Tuesday - Saturday!
We’re searching for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves building relationships with clients and their pets, and can help create a warm, positive experience from the moment customers walk through our doors.
✨ Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Experience in pet grooming, pet care, veterinary, or dog daycare environments REQUIRED
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Positive, lively personality with excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Able to open the shop daily at 8:00 AM
- Lives relatively close to the Bucktown area
- Has reliable transportation
- Enjoys interacting with clients and building long-term relationships with both pets and owners
Responsibilities Include:
- Greeting clients and their pets with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Managing appointments, phone calls, and scheduling
- Supporting grooming staff and maintaining smooth front desk operations
- Assisting with dog handling and check-ins/check-outs
- Maintaining a clean, welcoming reception area
- Providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive atmosphere daily
We’re looking for someone who truly loves dogs, enjoys working with people, and wants to be part of a fun, supportive team environment.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
