As a Direct Support Professional for our client in Westlake Ohio, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals in need. **Duties:**
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Implement behavior management techniques to support individuals with challenging behaviors

- Maintain a clean and organized living environment
- Adhere to resident rights and promote independence and self-determination
**Skills:**
- Ability to lift and assist individuals as needed
- Knowledge of resident rights and regulations
- Experience in dementia care and behavior management
- Familiarity with home care practices
- Strong understanding of direct support principles
- Background in social work or related field is a plus
- Ability to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Experience in hospice care or long-term care is advantageous
