At Hair Culture Day Spa, our assistants are an extension of our stylists. They read the room, anticipate needs, stay in motion, and take pride in keeping the salon running at a high level without being prompted. If that sounds like you, keep reading.
What This Role Actually Looks Like
This is a fast-moving, on-your-feet position from the moment you clock in. You will be assisting stylists with services (especially shampoo and color prep), maintaining a spotless and organized salon floor, greeting and attending to clients, managing front desk tasks, and filling every gap you see without being asked. There is no idle time. There is always something that needs to be done, and the right person for this role already knows that.

Requirements
- Strong work ethic
- Customer service skills and a professional, warm demeanor
- Ability to stay organized and efficient in a busy environment
- Cosmetology school enrollment or prior salon experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Availability Tuesday through Sunday (our operating days)
- Sunday availability from 10am to 5pm is required
