Location: Rogers, Arkansas
Clarity Wellness & Psychiatry is seeking a compassionate, experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing outpatient practice in Rogers, Arkansas.
This position is focused primarily on psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults experiencing a variety of mental health conditions. We are looking for a provider who is confident practicing independently, values patient-centered care, and is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric treatment.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish appropriate diagnoses.
- Provide psychiatric medication management and ongoing follow-up care.
- Initiate, adjust, and discontinue psychiatric medications when clinically appropriate.
- Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, interactions, and patient response.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical needs and goals.
- Provide routine medication-management follow-up appointments.
- Educate patients regarding medications, treatment options, risks, benefits, and expectations.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated.
- Coordinate care with therapists, primary-care providers, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Recognize and appropriately respond to changes in psychiatric symptoms and patient-safety concerns.
- Practice independently while maintaining high standards of professional, ethical, and evidence-based care.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or equivalent recognized certification.
- Current, unrestricted Arkansas APRN license with independent practice authority.
- Current RN/APRN credentials in good standing.
- Prescriptive authority in the State of Arkansas.
- Strong psychiatric assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a patient panel.
Psychiatric medication-management experience is preferred.
