Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional guest services that set a positive tone for their visit
- Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Answer phone calls professionally, utilizing proper phone etiquette to handle inquiries, reservations, and guest requests
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain organized reservation logs, waitlists, and seating charts using restaurant table management systems
- Assist with food safety practices by ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health standards in all guest interactions
- Support the team by handling guest relations with professionalism, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess or food service experience preferred; familiarity with restaurant reservation management is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations accurately
- Experience with restaurant table management systems and POS platforms such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable
- Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
- Ability to remain energetic, attentive, and friendly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills coupled with positive phone etiquette for effective guest interactions
