Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Hospitalist or Nocturnist, providing exceptional inpatient care in and around Riverside, CA. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inpatient medical care, including initial assessments, ongoing management, and discharge planning for hospitalized patients.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, interpret diagnostic imaging like CT scans, and review laboratory results to inform clinical decisions.
- Manage complex cases involving critical care experience, neurocritical care, cardiology, pulmonology, and other specialties as needed.
- Collaborate with specialists to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies while maintaining patient service excellence across inpatient settings.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with active licensure to practice medicine in California.
- Proven experience in hospital medicine or related inpatient care environments; critical care experience highly preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR systems familiarity with medical terminology and CPT coding.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, medical imaging interpretation (CT), and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Ability to perform procedures including suturing, airway management, and ventilator support; neonatal ventilator experience is a plus.
- Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications in neurocritical care, cardiology, or pediatrics are advantageous. Pay: $48,983.32 - $58,990.66 per year
