Summary of Kitchen Porter:
Maintains the highest standards of cleanliness in the kitchen, using N.Y. Department of Health Standards, and supervises interns and volunteers for cleaning projects by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Cleans and sanitizes all kitchen surfaces, floors and all kitchen utensils adhering to NYS Department of Health standards in a timely manner ensuring Kitchen is safe as well as clean.

Removes trash from Kitchen and offices, recycling as required.

Degreases and scrubs all ovens and major equipment.

Receives and stores all linen and paper orders, maintains/oversees inventory of cleaning supplies. Ensures the utility room is kept neat and organized.

Supervises interns and volunteers during routine cleaning as well as special projects. Receives goods and store in appropriate areas when receiving clerk is absent.

Other duties as assigned.
