American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Billings, MT, requiring 1 year of ED experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Hospital Emergency Department setting

Variable 12-hour shifts, working mostly nights and evenings

36 hours per week, 3 days per week

Epic EMR used for charting
-
May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications

May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending license accepted

Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required

ASN required; BSN preferred

Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS and/or NRP as appropriate — must not expire prior to assignment start

Epic charting experience required

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Emergency Department patients

Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions

Documents clinical care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines

Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
