The Role at a Glance:
The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for a combination of hands-on sanitation needs for the entire facility, as well as leadership of a small sanitation team of 10-15 employees. The position involves the development and implementation of the highest level of sanitation practices, while closely following GMPs, safety standards, and HACCP requirements.

Pre and Post process Floors

End of day hygiene sweep of entire processing plant – remove waste and debris

Lead sanitation team in any specific needs of the facility

Comply with all food safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and process efficiencies

Report any food safety issues to any Plant Manager

Follow all workplace safety procedures per safety training
-
Complete all daily sanitation logs
-
Put all cleaning supplies and tools away at the end of each shift
-
Assist co-workers as needed
-
Comply with Food Safety and GMP requirements at all times

Any and all other duties as assigned.

All issues or non-conformances related to quality assurance or food safety must immediately be reported to the Quality Assurance Supervisor or departmental supervisor/manager for communication with the Quality Assurance Manager.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Supervisory experience preferred

Work Schedule & Hours:

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM

Shifts up to 12 hours per day, based on operational needs
-
Start and end times may vary due to truck arrivals, order fulfillment, machine downtime, or production changes

Flexibility required to adjust schedule as needed
